Mercedes A Class "Elegance" What an under estimated vehicle. The usual perception is that of a compact hatchback or a micro car, or even a pumped up "Smart car". YES! it is compact, cheap to run, insure, easy to park etc. But the perception of which is so, so wrong. This is produced by a quality brand - Mercedes, and because of this the build quality of the car is far superior to that of say a Ford Ka, Vauxhall Corsa etc. The car is fully loaded with all the refinements you'd expect to find in a more expensive car. Electric, Windows, Mirrors, Power steering, Cruise control etc etc. The car also benefits with "SIPS" Side-Impact-Protection-System, Genuine Mercedes Alarm system and Genuine Mercedes Rubber mats. Which you could argue "so what" But I bet in there day these would have cost around £200. Needless to say the underneath carpet is like brand new. The more upright seating position gives more leg room and easier access than that of larger family sized cars. Owners hand book with some history and past MOT's helps to validate the mileage is correct. This is the Semi-Automatic A class. Which means it still has the conventional 5 speed manual gearbox but with NO clutch!! So' you'll never have to pay for another clutch replacement again. Offering the best of both worlds...
